Good Neighbor Grants

The 2026 Good Neighbor Grant application is now closed.  2027 applications will be open in early 2027. 

Bluegrass REALTORS® is giving back to the community by awarding grants to organizations that do good work in extraordinary ways. For 2026, the Association will offer $1,000 grants to up to 10 organizations. To be considered, please see the eligibility requirements below and complete the application. The selection committee will identify the recipients and notify those selected in late April.     
 
Eligibility for grants:
  • Organization must be affiliated with real estate, housing, shelter or other related need – determination will be made by the selection committee.
  • Organization currently recognized as an exempt organization under Section 501 or 509 of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and provides services in one of the Association's 38-county jurisdiction.

Deadline to apply is April 3, 2026

 

 

REALTOR® Volunteer Days

Bluegrass REALTORS® will be participating in the nationwide week of REALTOR® volunteering by hosting projects from May 30 - June 7. We are encouraging members to volunteer on one or more of the days with the projects (to be determined soon). Sign-ups to participate will be listed here once confirmed.

If you have an organization, activity or project that you and/or brokerage will be participating with or helping during the week, please email hunt@bluegrassrealtors.com so we can highlight your efforts and document your good deeds to the community.

Post-Secondary/Trade School Scholarship Program

Deadline to apply for the 2027 Scholarship Program will be February 15, 2027 and will open in the 4th quarter of 2026. 

Bluegrass REALTORS®’ Community Education & Outreach Committee is proud to award up to 10 scholarships at $2,000 each to high school seniors for the 2026 school year. The Association is offering this to all students in our 38-county jurisdiction.

List of counties

Eligibility/requirements for scholarships:
  • High school senior - graduating in the academic school year of 2026 - in the Association's jurisdiction (see above for counties)
  • Attendance to a post-secondary institution or trade school program in Kentucky
  • Must complete an essay (approx. 300 words) – what is the importance of homeownership/value of owning a home?
  • Preference given to students who plan to major in business and/or real estate related field of study or attend a trade school.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship for 2026 has passed. Please note: scholarships are limited to 10 total and the deadline will not be extended.

The committee will make selections in March with notifications to the schools/guidance counselors by April 15. The hope is that a representative from Bluegrass REALTORS® would be able to announce the scholarship winners at an awards or graduation ceremony, when possible. If not, the Association is requesting a photo/video of the presentation.
