The 2022 Housing Fair and Expo, hosted by the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors® (Bluegrass REALTORS®), will take place on Saturday, May 21 from 10am – 2pm. Bluegrass REALTORS® is excited to partner with LFUCG and the Office of Housing, Advocacy and Community Development to bring the public an event that will provide the information needed to understand and navigate the real estate market in Central and Southern Kentucky.
The Housing Fair and Expo will be held at the Bluegrass REALTORS® offices at 2250 Regency Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40503 and will feature sessions from industry professionals that will cover every aspect of the housing market including buying, selling, renting, financing, credit and more.
There will be resources from lenders, inspectors, housing specialists, service providers and many other professionals located outside where attendees can stop by, ask questions and receive materials about the real estate process.
“This event brings together every aspect of real estate in one place and gives the public a chance to learn more about the market, whether they are looking to buy, sell, renting or even to understand what it would mean to stay put,” said Rusty Underwood, president of Bluegrass REALTORS®. “The market is moving fast in this region - consumers have lots of questions but don’t always know where or who to turn to for answers. This gives them that opportunity without any commitment.”
This event is open and free to the public and attendees are encouraged to register online in advance to reserve a seat for the sessions. Space for each session is limited and will be open to walk-ins when available. Advance registrations will be entered to win a Blackstone grill with many other door prizes available to all attendees including YETI coolers, Lowe’s gift cards and more. Food trucks will be on-site for attendees to purchase. The first 100 attendees will receive a free lunch cooler tote and a snack bag of kettle corn.
