Bluegrass Realtors® announces the departure of its Chief Executive Officer, Justin Landon. For six years, Justin led Bluegrass Realtors®, and its subsidiaries, Imagine MLS and the Realtor® Community Housing Foundation, through many advancements and milestones, including a successful MLS conversion, a lockbox transition, an organizational restructure and rebrand, a governance overhaul, the introduction of new forms, successful mergers, and countless less visible efforts that promoted progress across the Association.
President Randy Newsome commented, "Justin’s passion for our members and the industry has helped Bluegrass Realtors® foster a culture of service and innovation that positions us perfectly in line with where real estate is headed. He’s also built a team of staff professionals who will continue to work on our members’ behalf in the weeks, months, and years ahead. We are thankful for his leadership.”
Justin expressed his pride in the team's accomplishments, "Any success we’ve had is because of the partnership between our staff and volunteers. I have always said, we get the right president at the right time, and I am confident that Randy Newsome is the right leader to guide the association through this time of transition.”
Justin is leaving the beginning of March to become the Chief Executive Officer of the MetroTex Association of Realtors®, the fifth largest local real estate Association in the country. Based in Irving, Texas, MetroTex serves over 26,000 members across five locations around the Dallas Metropolitan area.
Randy Newsome assured stakeholders, "The board has initiated the process to find the next CEO. An announcement is expected in the coming months. In the meantime, and thereafter, we remain committed to maintaining the positive momentum and growth that Justin helped cultivate.
